| Trip: left Seattle on Thursday, 8/19 around noon. Got to Paradise just in time to register, then hiked up to Camp Muir. There were no independent-party tents
set up there and one of the shelters was pretty much empty, so we slept in. Moved camp to Ingraham Flats on Friday morning and pitched tent. Left for the summit
at 2am on Saturday (8/21) and entered the crater rim at 6am sharp, at sunrise. Team: Catalin Olteanu, Alin Flaidar. |
